I was born in Denmark on December 22nd, 1968 in a very small town called Falster in an old military compound. I started drawing when I was a young child and have continued developing my skills over the years. My interest in tattoos started around the age of 8 or 9. My dad and many of his friends were heavily tattooed, and I remember always being fascinated by them.

My first paid art job was for a publisher who needed illustrated pictures of a particular soldier in a story from the 2nd world war. It was low budget, but for me it was HUGE! I was happy I could help out and have the chance of my work being seen by others. After that, I started to learn the art of tattooing from a friend. It was so cool and I remember being so impressed by how he did the lines, shading, and so on. I knew that it was exactly the thing I wanted to do. I also started creating small-scale tattoo designs until a tattoo parlour asked me to make the designs bigger. So I did, and it led me to where I am today.

I would surf the Internet for inspiration, as I still do, to gather ideas from artists around the world. I was amazed by the quality and quantity of all the artwork and that just furthered my belief that being involved with tattoos was where I belonged. I entered the Flash2xs.com Free Flash Contest, won, and before long, I had a signed contract with the company. This was a huge accomplishment for me and I have loved this opportunity from the beginning. And now 10 years later I know that it was the right thing for me, this is where I belong.

When you work with the best, you always have to do your very best not to get pushed back. I now know what it takes for me to develop the way I did and still do but the problem is I have so many ideas. I can easily make 15-25 new designs a day. Ideas come easy to me, just talking to a friend makes me want to draw. Funny how it works sometimes.

I'm just happy I have the chance to do what I love to most, what more can you wish for in life? That's what its all about, doing the things you love. Every little piece of art I do tells a little story, some good some bad, but seeing people buy the designs makes all of my designs a good story because it makes some guy or girl happy, its a HUGE honor.
