My name is Bob McClure and I was born in Denmark on December 22nd, 1968. I started drawing when I was a young child and have continued developing my skill over the years. My interest in tattoos started around the age of 8 or 9. My dad had a lot of them, and as time passed by, he got more and more. His friends also had many tattoos, and I remember always being fascinated by them.

I eventually met a publisher (by accident no less!) when I was looking for a job at a newspaper company. I wanted to draw for them and this publisher asked if he could look at my material. He told me that he needed some drawings for a book that would illustrate pictures of a particular soldier. It was a low budget, but I was happy that I could help out.
After that, I started to learn the art of tattooing from a friend of mine. It was so cool and I remember being so impressed by how he did the lines, shading, and so on. I knew that it was exactly the thing I wanted to do. I also started creating small-scale tattoo designs until a tattoo parlour asked me to make the designs bigger. So I did, and it led me to where I am today.
I would surf the internet for inspiration and gather ideas from cool artists around the world. I was amazed by the quality and quantity of all the artwork, and that just furthered my belief that being involved with tattoos was where I belonged. I then found the www.Flash2xs.com website which allowed you to send in free tattoo flash to show off. Before long, I had a signed contract, and I was an official artist on the site, as well as www.TattooFinder.com. This was a huge accomplishment for me and I have loved it from the beginning. Thank you everyone at TattooFinder for taking me a part of your family!
