Well here's a little about me. I was born in Split, Croatia in 1978. How did i start drawing and doing tattoos? When my father was 18 he went into the Army and got tattooed. As i grew up a little (around 13 years old), my only question to him was, "How did you do it?"I was curious and knew if I continued asking, an answer would come. It happened a month later. He explained it to me quickly without much detail. No words can describe how happy I was. Later that same night, while my parents were asleep, I was in another room preparing myself for MY FIRST TATTOO. YEAH! My machine was simply a sewing needle with some yarn around it and few matches to hold it all together. I used ink from a pen. It ended up taking me 6 hours to do it, and it was so painful. But finally I had a tattoo! It was a big heart with wings on each side. I was very proud of myself. I don't need to say how my parents felt about it... hehe. But I didn't care much about that. I knew it was what I wanted to do. That was the way I wanted to go.

Shortly after that my country was at war for independence. During that time there were no tattoo studios in town, and there was no place where I could buy a real tattoo machine and supplies. So a few friends helped me and I made my own machine with parts from a Walkman and a string from a guitar. Years passed by and I did about 50 tattoos on my friends. After that a tattoo shop finally opened in town. After a few days, (I was 17 then) I got my first tattoo in a real studio. It was an eagle with a banner that said "Born to be Wild." I became very good friends with the guy who owned the studio. This got me starting to draw more.

When I turned 18 I joined the Army, and of course, took my machine with me. Now though, I had professional colors. I tattooed a lot during those days, and discovered a lot of things about tattoos. After the Army there were a few more tattoo studios in my home town. I heard that one was looking for a tattoo artist, so I took all of the pictures of tattoos I had done and went right to the shop. 8 years later and I'm still there. I thank my wife and my son (my two biggest supporters), my brother and parents, and everyone else who believed in me through all of these years. Thank your for your support and understanding.
