Hey there, my name is Michael Fishkin, and I’m a flash artist and tattoo artist from Colorado, U.S. I have been drawing tattoo flash and have also been a tattoo artist for a long time. One of these days I hope to open up my own tattoo studio. When I draw, I like to create flash that I enjoy tattooing. With drawing, you are constantly changing and learning. Every day I grow and learn more and more. I like the older traditional styles of tattooing because it’s the roots of the art, and really just appeals to me more than anything else. I also like Chicano style artwork. What I really appreciate about creating flash and tattooing is that people can express themselves and show off who they are and what they like in their own unique form. To top that off, I get to help them create this expression. I also love that the effect that paintings and tattoos have on people is immediate. You change a person's image and it's right there, no waiting around for it. Tattoos are truly the only form of art that allow individuals the creativity to show their personalities without any words.
