Howdy folks, my name is Jerry Goodwin, artist of Zoo Flash. Now that I am designing tattoo flash you can see in my photo that my head is above the clouds and into the heavens for I am (as the saying goes) on cloud nine.

I was born on March 22, 1944 in Maud, Texas. Yep, that's right, Maud, Texas . . . ever heard of it? Nope? Well it is a nice little old sleepy farm town close to Texarkana, Texas, and to this day if you are passing through on a horse and blink your eyes you will miss it, ha, ha!
During most of my childhood I lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Back then it was like the old stagecoach days with no fences. Why, you could almost go anywhere you wanted and it was grand . . . just pull off the highway and take off cross-country. Sorry to say it is not that way anymore and I miss that freedom.
I loved the New Mexico country, but it was a ruff time back during that era. There weren't a whole lot of opportunities available in Santa Fe, or as matter of fact in the whole state of New Mexico. So at the young age of 22, I left New Mexico and ventured to Dallas, Texas looking for better opportunities. I thrived to become a commercial architect, and practiced in commercial architecture for 20 years.
Throughout my life, in my spare time I doodled with artwork, did a few drawings and sculptures here and there on the side, but never did really get into it. On certain occasions, when people saw my artwork they made comments that I should be a tattoo artist, but it went in one ear and right out the other. Heck, I was into architecture and going to make it big no matter what it took. I never did make it big in architecture. I guess I should have listened to the suggestions and been a tattoo artist, ha, ha! So here I am to this date single, retired and residing in Alba, Texas, at Lake Fork, designing tattoo flash. I give thanks to Flash2xs.com for helping me and giving me this great opportunity to share my God given talents.
I would like to close this bio simply by saying that I believe our talents, visions and ideas come from God. If you choose and select any tattoo design from any artist be proud of your selection. When you wear it, wear it with a smile with your head held high (like mine on cloud nine). Know that you have chosen a creation that came from God.
I thank you for reading this short bio and hope you enjoy my designs for God gave me the visions as he guided my hand.
