Henry Rollins

Rollins has been called a modern-day renaissance man: singer, spoken word artist, movie actor, and TV personality. "Rollins [is] relentlessly busy," says critic Steve Huey, "and has kept his artistic integrity, becoming a kind of father figure for many alternative bands of the '90s."

Henry Rollins' tattoos

Halle Berry

The award-winning actress had the name of her first husband, pro baseball player David Justice, tattooed on her right buttock. After their divorce in 1996, she had the tattoo re-inked into a sunflower, which you can see in this screengrab from the 2001 film Monster's Ball, for which she won the Academy Award.

Green Day

The three-piece band is largely credited with reviving popular interest in punk rock in the United States. Their breakout success Dookie sold over 10 million albums in the U.S., and went on to win three Grammy Awards, which is good because now there's one for each of them. Otherwise, bands have to fight over who gets to take home the statue.

Foo Fighters

The Grammy Award-winning band, led by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, have earned a worldwide following through such hits as "Learn to Fly" and "Best of You."

Fishbone

The legendary South Central Los Angeles rock band plays an eclectic fusion of funk, ska, punk rock, reggae, and metal. And their tattoos are an eclectic fusion as well, especially those of their lead singer, singer/poet Angelo Moore.

Among Angelo Moore's unusual tattoos are a number of "evil clown" designs, as well as a tattoo of his alter ego "Dr. Madd Vibe," a character that Moore uses to recite his radical, spoken-word poetry.
