Last week, state senators in Hawaii ended a measure passed by the House that would have allowed anyone to tattoo without any training or experience. Many individuals in the tattoo industry protested the bill, worried that if it passed they would see cases of Hepatitis and other diseases would spread from artists who were unsanitary and not trained properly.
