Ben There was born and raised in Colorado. He eventually wound up at the Memphis College of Art where he graduated with a BFA in 1993. He began tattooing in 1992 as a self-taught artist. After owning a shop in Aspen for a few years, he closed down and started a world-traveling journey of doing guest spots. He obtained a permanent guest spot at Slave to the Needle in Seattle where you can find him when he's back from his travels.

Lyle Tuttle began tattooing in 1949 in California. His hard work and dedication led him to be considered responsible for bringing tattooing into the mainstream.
